monetary contributions or other revenues sources for this Project. In the event such records <br />are audited, all Project records shall be retained beyond such five (5) year period until all <br />audit findings have been resolved. <br />b. Records If Grantee Dissolves - In the event the Grantee dissolves or otherwise goes out of <br />existence before the end of the Grant, or within five (5) years following the Termination Date, <br />Grantee shall notify the Commission in writing and agrees that it will make arrangements for <br />the retention of its records. <br />2. State Auditor -Grantee shall allow the State Auditor or the State Auditor's designee to enter its <br />premises and to audit, examine and copy its records in accordance with N.C. General Statute § <br />147-64.7. <br />3. Commission Staff <br />a. Grantee shall make available to the Commission or its designated representative all of its <br />records which relate to the Grant and the Project for audit, examination and copying. Access <br />to these records shall be allowed upon request at any time during normal business hours and <br />as often as the Commission or its representative may deem necessary. <br />b. Grantee shall allow periodic visits by Commission staff or its designated representative at the <br />Commission staff s discretion. The purpose of these visits is to verify contract compliance, <br />assist Grantees, facilitate the dissemination of information and ideas among all Grantees, and <br />to increase the statewide effectiveness of the Program. <br />D. Subcontracting <br />The Grantee agrees to the following: <br />Notice -Grantee shall notify the Commission in writing at least five (5) business days in advance <br />of Grantee disbursing Commission funds to any subcontractors, partners and subgrantees during <br />the term of this Grant. Such notification must include the detailed purpose of the disbursement, <br />total amount that will be disbursed over the term of the grant to that subcontractor, partner orsub- <br />grantee and reporting requirements for subcontracts made between the Grantee and this other <br />entity. <br />2. Bound by Terms -All subcontractors, partners and subgrantees shall be subject to all terms and <br />conditions of this Agreement through a subcontract with the grantee. <br />Grantee Responsibility -Grantee is responsible for the performance of any subcontractor, partner, <br />or subgrantee and continues to be responsible for all services provided under this Agreement <br />regardless of who may be providing them. Grantee is responsible for the notification and the <br />monitoring of all subcontractors, partners, or subgrantees in regards to all applicable reporting <br />requirements as specified by this contract, including but not limited to N.C. General Statute § 143- <br />6.2. <br />4. Payment of Subcontractors, Partners and Subgrantees -Grantee is responsible for paying all <br />subcontractors, partners and subgrantees for services and ensuring that all funds are spent in <br />accordance with the purposes for which they were granted. As a condition of this Contract, <br />Grantee acknowledges and agrees to make disbursements in accordance with the following <br />requirements: <br />a.
