Whitted Human Services Genter Project for $240,000; and to adopt capital project ordinance amendments for Remapping Capital Project for $550,772 and Rural Education Center Project for $163,000. 23. ITEMS FOR DECISION--REGULAR AGENDA 1 ADOPTION OF A POLICY ON TAXING $OUNDARY PROPERTIES BETWEEN ORANGE AND CHATHAM COUNTIES Land Records Manager Roscoe Reeve presented to the Board for their approval a joint policy with Chatham County that will resolve the taxation of properties affected by the adoption of a new boundary line. He suggested one modification to clause #2 to read "Upon petition by any such owner to the Assessors of Orange and Chatham Counties, the situs ... Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Chairman Carey to approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Boundary Taxation Policy as modified and direct the Clerk to forward the adopted policy to the Chatham County Board of Commissioners for concurrence in the modification. 2. EMS ADVISORY COUNCIL John Link presented for approval a list of persons to serve on the EMS Advisory Council. Questions about the charge and the composition were raised and it was decided to not limit the charge to just those items specified in the original charge and to add appointments from the rural areas of the County.
