''~ <br />THERE WERE NO QUESTIONS FROM THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OR PLANNING BOARD. <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPEN FOR CITIZEN COMMENT. <br />ALLEN SPALT stated that he recently discovered that there seems to be a problem in <br />the characterization of impervious surface in Orange County. He commented that having <br />such surfaces include concrete or asphalt does not go far enough. There are other <br />impervious surfaces, such as unpaved, or gravel surfaces. He suggested that gravel <br />areas for commercial use with 30$ of the area being graveled that it include a <br />significant amount of impervious surface. This needs to includes gravel surfaces as <br />well. <br />MS. SCEARBO stated that that could not be addressed at this time since the <br />advertisement did not include gravel surfaces. <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br />Motion was made by Ghairman Carey, seconded by Commissioner Marshall, to refer this <br />item to the Planning Board for a recommendation to be returned to the Board no sooner <br />than August 1st. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />3.a.
