<br />MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />MAY 8, 1989 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in special <br />session on May. 8, 19$9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' <br />Library, Court Street Annex, Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br />The purpose of the meeting was to go into executive session <br />to discuss litigation. <br />BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Moses Carey, Jr., and <br />Commissioners Stephen Halkiotis, John Hartwell, Shirley <br />Marshall and Don Willhoit. <br />ATTORNEY PRESENT: Geoffrey Gledhill. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by <br />Commissioner Marshall to return to executive session to <br />discuss litigation. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by ,' <br />Commissioner Willhoit to go back in special session. ~..>~, <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. -•~ <br />Chairman Moses Carey, Jr, adjourned the meeting. The <br />next regular meeting of the Board will be held on May 16, <br />1989 at 7.:30 p.m, in the Courtroom of the old Post Office, <br />Chapel Hill, North Carolina. <br />Beverly A.
