10 <br />a. Grantee is authorized under this Franchise to operate the following types <br />of service(s), the combination of which shall constitute Grantee's "EMS <br />Services for the purposes of this Franchise, and subcategories under which <br />they can operate shall be identified in the "Operation Agreement" to be <br />entered into by the Franchisee and the County within 90 days after <br />acceptance of the Franchise permit. <br />i. Emergency Services Basic Life Support Transport Services <br />ii. Convalescent Basic Life Support Transport Services <br />c. Grantee shall comply at all times with the requirements of "An Ordinance <br />Regulating Ambulance, Emergency Medical, First Responder And Rescue <br />Service And Granting Of Franchise And Contracts To The Operator In The <br />County Of Orange ("EMS Franchise Ordinance"), this Franchise Agreements, <br />the Operations Agreement, and. all applicable laws relating to health, <br />sanitation, safety, equipment, ambulance design or other EMS Services <br />vehicle design and all legal requirements related to a Model EMS System and <br />all other laws and ordinance; <br />a. Grantee shall maintain in good standing its state and local Drivers and <br />Privilege license (s) to operate its ambulance or other EMS Services as <br />provided for by Law. <br />b. Establish and maintain appropriate and effective professional working <br />relationships with all public health, public safety, and emergency services <br />organization and personnel. <br />c. Professional working relationships shall be cooperative and collaborative <br />in nature. <br />d. Maintain neat, clean, and professional appearance of personnel, equipment <br />and facilities. <br />Section 5. Scope of Service and Service Area <br />a. Grantee is available 24 hours per each and every day upon request and <br />provides seven day per week service within the Franchise District <br />specified in Exhibit A, except when a different or additional service area is <br />provided for herein. <br />b. Grantor may from time to time alter, and at its sole discretion, amend <br />Exhibit A and the service area of the County that constitute (s) the <br />Franchise District. <br />AAA Transport, Inc. <br />EMS Franchise Agreement <br />Page 7 of 23 <br />
