6 <br />provided such terms and conditions are not inconsistent with or in conflict with the provisions of this <br />Employment Agreement or any applicable law. <br />A. During the Employee's employment as County Attorney, the Employee shall reside in and maintain <br />a residence within Orange County. <br />SECTION 15: GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />A. The text herein shall constitute the entire agreement between the parties. <br />B. This Employment Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the heirs at law and <br />executors of Employee. <br />C. This Employment Agreement shall become effective the date first above recorded. <br />D. If any provision, or any portion thereof, contained in this Employment Agreement is held <br />unconstitutional, invalid, or unenforceable, the remainder of this Employment Agreement, or portion <br />thereof, shall be deemed severable, shall not be affected, and shall remain in full force and effect. <br />E. This Employment Agreement may be amended from time to time by the Parties hereto and shall <br />be effective when reduced to writing and signed by both Parties. <br />F. The laws of the State of North Carolina shall govern all aspects of this Agreement.
