FINANCIAL IMPACT: The proposed contract for the relocation of the telephone lines is $36,830. Funding to cover the cost of this contract has been included in the capital project ordinance presented for adoption by the BOCC elsewhere on this May 4 agenda. Funds will be drawn from the Buckhorn/Efland Sewer project accounts in the same manner as construction, engineering and right-of-way acquisition costs. RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the contract to have MebTel Communications relocate the telephone lines along the north shoulder of West Ten Road, subject to final review by staff and the County Attorney, and authorize the Chair to sign the contract.
