SUB-AREA CLEANUP & TERMITE REPORT/TREATMENT <br />1. Chemically treat entire perimeter of house for termite and pest control. <br />Chemical treatment to be done by a licensed termite or pest control <br />company. Contractor to provide owner with written proof and warranty of <br />treatment. <br />2. Supply and install 6 mil plastic vapor barrier to entire sub-area of house so <br />as to provide moisture protection. <br />B. FOUNDATION <br />1. Repair one foundation vent in rear foundation wall to restore to proper <br />working order. <br />2. Remove wood sill from existing crawlspace access door. Supply and <br />install new treated wood sill under existing access door and new locking <br />hasp with lock to restore to proper working order. NOTE: If further <br />damage is discovered after existing sill is removed, the Owner, Contractor <br />and Rehabilitation Specialist will meet to review the work, determine a <br />course of action and, if necessary, a cost for any additional work. <br />C. ROOF & GUTTER <br />1. Remove existing composition shingle roof cover to sheathing. Does not <br />include rake trim, fascia and soffit (See Lead Remediation Specs). NOTE: <br />After existing roof cover is removed, if further damage is discovered the <br />Owner, Contractor and Rehabilitation Specialist will meet to review the <br />work, determine a course of action and, if necessary, a cost for any <br />additional work. Replace flashing including all chimney flashing, roof <br />jacks, metal nosing, plumbing boots, metal drip edge, etc.. Paint all vents, <br />7 <br />
