SID AWARD = MICRO COMPUTERS AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT (The bid sheet is an <br />attachment to these minutes on pages /- ,), <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis <br />to award the bid for all hardware to Computer Directions for unit costs as quoted on <br />the bid tabulation including printers, and award the bid far the software to PC Mart <br />for unit costs as quoted on the bid tabulation. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />3~ CHESTNUT WOODS PRELIMINARY PLAN <br />The Preliminary Plan for Chestnut Woods was presented for consideration of <br />approval. The property is located in Bingham Township on Chestnut Ridge Church Road. <br />A public road (Castanea Road) is proposed to be constructed to serve the subdivision. <br />There are seven lots proposed out of 8.59 acres. The average lot size is 1.14 acres. <br />Each lot will have individual wells and septic tanks. The property is zoned A-R and <br />PWII. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis <br />to approve the preliminary plan with the condition that the electric service line must <br />be relocated to run along Chestnut Ridge Church Raad. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />f ~i <br />i 4. OAK HOLLOW PRELIMINARY FLAN - <br />,, <br />-- The Preliminary Plan far Oak Hollow was presented for consideration of <br />approval. The property is located on the north side of NC Highway 54 west of White <br />Cross. Ten lots are proposed out of 17.69 acres. The lots will be served by <br />individual wells and septic tanks. A Class A private road is proposed. The tract is <br />zoned Residential-l. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Commissioner Marshall <br />to approve the preliminary plan for Oak Hollow with a public road built to NCDOT <br />standards and the following condition; <br />Approval of the width and location of the proposed drainage easement by the <br />Erosion Control Division. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />5. GRAND OAK ESTATES PRELIMINARY PLAN <br />The Preliminary Plan for Grand Oak Estates was presented for consideration of <br />approval. The property is located in Eno Township at the northeast corner of St. <br />Mary's Road and Lipscomb Grove Church Road. Fifty-six (56) lots are proposed out of a <br />94.77 acre tract. The property is zoned A-R and designated Agricultural Residential <br />in the Land Use Plan. Lots will be served by individual wells and septic tanks. <br />Streets are proposed to be public and constructed to State standards. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Commissioner Marshall <br />to approve the preliminary plan as recommended by the Planning Board and the <br />Administration with the following conditions: <br />(1) Homeowners Association documents be submitted with the final plat <br />indicating maintenance for lot 8. <br />(2) NCDOT has indicated a need for a left turn lane on St. Mary's Road.
