Stations provide formal training: <br />Guardian ad Litem 2 evenings a week for 3 weeks, 20 -3o hours to include court observation <br />Summary <br />Summary <br />Summary <br />(1)Train and assist others in conflict resolution /mediation techniques and violence prevention. <br />Mediate disagreements- -such as domestic, neighborhood, landlord /tenant, customer/business, <br />personal disputes - -to prevent legal action; support office administration <br />(2)Provide clerical assistance for pro -bono legal firm aiding victims of abuse <br />(3) Provide traffic court assistance by pulling files prior to court and on court day, distribute files to <br />incoming clients, direct and assist them in locating assigned courtroom <br />(Dispute Settlement Ctr., DVC Legal Services, OC Courts) <br />Page 56 <br />
