i <br />Work Plan /Performance Measures <br />provide office, storage and training space, phone lines and maintenance of donated machines. IRS <br />will supply laptops, some paper, shredding services, five printers, ink cartridges, tax software and <br />training materials at an estimated cost of $ioo per trainee, which is donated by the IRS. Seven site <br />facilities are provided by various agencies across two counties (5 in Orange County, 2 in Chatham) <br />at a local hospital, senior centers, county town halls and a training site for physically challenged <br />individuals. After April 15th, VITA services are provided on an as- needed basis. <br />RSVP provides its standard volunteer benefit package and recognition. Orange County Government <br />will supply one Hispanic phone line. <br />Summary <br />Mainly during tax season eligible clients will receive free tax preparation and /or, counseling and e- <br />filing assistance, and a significant number of federal and state tax returns will be e- filed. <br />INDICATORS: # clients assisted, # of tax returns e -filed <br />TARGET: 1,60o clients served, 1400 federal returns and 1300 state returns will be e- filed. <br />HOW MEASURED: Client Exit Survey, Statistician Report <br />INDICATOR: # clients will save an average of $loo <br />TARGET: 1600 clients will save an average of $100 <br />Page 35 <br />
