Far this reason, <br />Orange County will evaluate the following <br />provisions for inclusion as part of its approval <br />processes: - <br />a. That a proposed development within a Transition <br />v _., Area be required to extend the water and/or sewer <br />services of the municipality, private association <br />or water or sewer authority to whose system the <br />development was to~be connected; <br />b. That minimum lot sizes in Transition Areas be <br />significantly :.ncreased until such services <br />were available; .and <br />c. Where alternative wastewater treatments systems <br />are employed, that utility easements be dedicated <br />far the orderly extension of future utility <br />systems, that alternative systems be designed to <br />acceptable utility standards, and that a binding <br />commitment be provided requiring connection to the <br />utility system when they are available. <br />(Goal 3, Subsection B-2) <br />
