<br />Staff presentation was made by Marvin Collins. <br />The proposed amendments will add definitions for "existing <br />manufactured home park or subdivision" and "expansion to an existing <br />manufactured home park or subdivision", and a requirement that all <br />manufactured homes to be placed in or substantially improved in <br />floodplain zones shall have their lowest floor elevated to or above <br />the base flood elevation. The amendments will have the affect of <br />restoring the grandfather provisions contained in previous Federal <br />regulations. <br />Commissioner Halkiotis moved approval of the proposed amendments. <br />Seconded by Commissioner Carey. Vote was unanimous. <br />With no further items to consider, Vice-Chair Moses Carey adjourned <br />the meeting at 12:10. Those continued items will be considered at 7: <br />00 p.m. on September 6, 1988 with the regular meeting held <br />thereafter.
