<br />The Board of Commissioners far the County of Orange, North <br />Carolina, met in regular session in the Courtroom of the old Ppst <br />Office on Franklin Street, in Chapel Hill, Narth Carolina, the <br />regular place of meeting, at 7:3o P.M., on August 16, 1988. <br />Present: Chairman Shirley E. Marshall, presiding, and <br />Commissioners Moses Carey, Jr., John Hartwell, Stephen Halkiotis and <br />Don Willhoit. <br />Absent; None <br />* * rr <br />The Chairman announced that this was the hour and day fixed <br />by the Board of Commissioners far the public hearing upan the <br />arders entitled: "ORDER AUTHORIZING $22,000,000 SCHOOL BONDS", <br />"ORDER AUTHORIZING $7,000,000 PUBLIC BUILDING BONDS" and "ORDER <br />AUTHORIZING $1,000,000 WATER BONDS" and that the Board of <br />Commissioners would immediately hear anyone who might wish to be <br />heard an the questions of the validity of said orders or the <br />advisability of issuing said bands. <br />No ane appeared, either in person ar by attorney, to be <br />heard on the questions of the validity of said orders ar the <br />advisability of issuing said bonds and the Clerk to the Board of <br />Commissioners announced that no written statement relating to <br />Said questions had been received. except for those 1 i sted on the attached <br />two sheets. <br />BROwti ,y WDOG. pNE WOFLG'rp AGE CENTER MEw vO~+K.ti v ~p(~(1 <br />
