These recreation benefits are in addition to <br />=ne obvious recreation activities that would be available at the reservoir <br />Itself, The Town of Hillsborough sees the construction of the proposed <br />Gorham pipeline as i•ts primary alternative to a joint town/county reservoir. <br />This would be an unfortunate reaction to the continuing water crises and <br />Would not provide one additional drop of water for instream flow. The <br />county's often stated goal of avoiding Strip development along US 70 would be <br />almost impossible.
