Recommendation 4: <br />Action Strategies: <br />Ensure adequate space is available for cultural arts. <br />A. Provide and promote gallery space in all public and quasi - public buildings. <br />B. Encourage displays of art and arts performances in public spaces and in businesses. <br />C. Create partnerships between high schools and the community to create cultural arts <br />centers <br />which are accessible at reasonable costs for appropriate community events. <br />D. Establish a space for arts and community groups <br />to have shared offices /meeting space to plan projects and foster partnerships. <br />E. Promote the accessibility of space <br />for artists' studios and cooperatives. <br />Recommendation 5: Support greater funding for cultural arts. <br />Action Strategies: <br />A. Create incentives to support local artists. <br />B. Create a public - private partnership to fund the arts. <br />Recommendation : Establish better collaboration and communication <br />among artists, the community, and community <br />leaders. <br />Action Strategies: <br />A. Develop a county arts incubator <br />in collaboration with the Economic Development Commission. <br />B. Establish a community arts resources center <br />to be a central place for providing and sharing information about grant availability and proposal <br />writing, marketing, and the activities of artists and arts organizations nationwide. Such a center <br />could also serve as a meeting place to plan joint ventures. <br />C. Broaden the Orange County Arts Commission database to include rural and <br />immigrant arts. <br />we <br />
