County <br />Attorney Geof Gledhill responded that it <br />is a matter of terminology and that it is <br />not envisioned that resolutions would be <br />adapted to change the Comprehensive Plan <br />which have not been to public hearing. <br />Gledhill continued that there is a statute <br />which addresses ordinances or resolutions <br />that affect ordinances regarding County <br />government. <br />Ted Latta questioned the number of days <br />far advertising (fifteen and twenty-five). <br />,7acobs responded that this time frame was <br />consistent with the other ordinances. <br />Chair Marshall also noted the change was <br />consistent with the change in enabling <br />legislation. Gledhill indicated that the <br />enabling legislation changes regarding <br />advertising schedules occurred about two <br />years ago. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded <br />by Chair Marshall that the public hearing be <br />held open for the purpose of receiving the <br />Planning Board's recommendation at the Board <br />of Commissioners meeting on April ~. <br />Vote: Unanimous. <br />(3) Article 4-Establishment of Permitted Use <br />Table and Schedule and Article fi -Application <br />of Dimensional Requirements (References to <br />"Land Use Plan") <br />The staff presentation was made by Gene Bell. <br />This agenda item is to receive citizen comment <br />proposed amendments to Article 4 <br />(Establishment of Permitted Use Table and <br />Schedule) and Article 6 (Application of <br />Dimensional Requirements) of the zoning <br />Ordinance. <br />The zoning Ordinance currently contains <br />references which cite the Land Use Plan in one <br />instance and the Comprehensive Plan in <br />another. Amendments are being proposed to the <br />Zoning Ordinance which re-define the nature <br />
