Policy on Planning and Funding School Capital Projects <br />The Board considered adoption of a policy on planning and funding school capital <br />projects. <br />Commissioner Brown made reference to page six, the first paragraph, and asked that the <br />words "and the adopted criteria" be included. <br />Commissioner Gordon suggested that the Board adopt this policy and direct the staff to <br />come back with the extra language and put it on the consent agenda. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Brown, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br />approve the policy on planning and funding school capital projects with the addition as noted above. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />L SUP-1-00 -Special Use Permit Modification for the Construction of a Shelter for an <br />Existing Recycling Pad at the Orange Regional Landfill <br />The Board considered modifying a Class A Special Use Permit for the construction of a <br />shelter for an existing recycling pad at the Orange County landfill. <br />Commissioner Brown asked questions which were answered satisfactorily by Solid Waste <br />Manager Gayle Wilson. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Brown, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis to <br />close the public hearing and approve a Class A Special Use Permit modification for the construction <br />of a shelter for an existing recycling pad at the Orange County landfill per the Planning Board <br />recommendation. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />k.
