ADDITION OF SUMMERWIND COACHWAY PARTRIDGE RUN JEFFERSONS <br />CHOICE OUTRIDER TRACE WHEELWRIGHT COMMON AND GREENBRIER STATION IN THE <br />TRAILS SUBDYVISION TO THE STATE--MAINTAINED ROAD SYSTEM. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by Chair <br />Marshall to approve the petition from DOT for the addition of Summerwind, <br />Coachway, Partridge Run, Jefferson Choice, Outrider Trace, Wheelwright <br />Common, and Greenbrier Station in the Trails Subdivision to the State <br />Maintained Road System. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />4. JTPA SERVICE DELIVERY DESIGNATION <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Chair <br />Marshall to redesignate Orange County's JTPA service delivery area to the <br />State Rural JTPA program and become members of the balance of State and <br />administered by the State with regional trainers working with JTPA <br />recipients. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />5. SPACE ALLOCATION <br />Albert Kittrell presented a plan for reallocation of space in the <br />New Courthouse and the Court Street Annex. <br />Several concerns were expressed by the Board: <br />(1) The cost of the rented facilities. <br />(2) The hardship imposed on the Juvenile Court Counselors by <br />having to move twice within such a short period of time.. <br />(3) Assurance that adequate .input had been provided by all <br />departments and agencies and that the plan addresses the needs <br />of all agencies scheduled for reallocation of space. <br />These concerns will be addressed by the Administration at the next <br />meeting. <br />H. APPOINTMENTS <br />The following appointments were made by the Board: <br />MENTAL HEALTH BOARD - Dr. Eugene Meyer <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT -- William Bunch <br />COUNTY ADVISORY BOARD ON AGING -Mary Grosso <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Chair Marshall <br />to go into Executive Session to discuss litigation. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Halkiotis to adjourn into regular session. <br />I. ADJOURNMENT <br />With no further items for the Board to consider, Chair Marshall <br />adjourned the meeting.
