No County funds will be used for this project and <br />continue support will come from user fees beyond the grant <br />period. <br />1: SeniorNet is a volunteer- based, non - profit organization <br />serving adults 55 and over. It has an international <br />membership of over 22,000 members and over 100 Learning <br />Centers throughout the U.S. More the 75,000 seniors have <br />been introduced to computers through SeniorNet and it has <br />enriched the lives of seniors. In designating the Chapel Hill <br />Senior Center and the Dept. on Aging as the organizing group <br />for the Learning Center in our area, SeniorNet would provide <br />$1,000 each year for two years for the Center volunteer <br />coordinator's participation in a national SeniorNet event and <br />1 <br />
