Fikes <br />TELEPHONE NUMBERS: - - egt. 2490 <br />Mebane 227-2Q31 <br />PURPOSE: <br />To approve the impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity in the amount of <br />$6,000. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On November 1, 1995, the BOCC approved a policy for impact fee reimbursement to local non- <br />profit organizations meeting the established eligibility criteria. <br />The County has received a reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. <br />Specifically, the agency is asking for $6,000 in reimbursement for impact fees paid for five houses <br />that under construction. The houses aze located at the following addresses: <br />1. 821 Ferguson Road, Chapel Hill; (Orange County Schools - $750) <br />(Family of two (2); Annual Income: $16,480) <br />2. Lot 4, Efland Estates Subdivision; (Orange County Schools - $750) <br />(Family of two (2); Annual Income: $22,940) <br />3. Lot 5, Efland Estates Subdivision; (Orange County Schools - $754) <br />(Family of four (3); Annual Income: $27,000} <br />4 . Lot 7, Efland Estates Subdivision;(Orange County Schools - $750) <br />(Family of four (4); Annual Income: $26,000) <br />5. Lot 24, Culbreth Park, Chapel Hill; (Chapel HilUCarrboro Schools - $3,000) <br />(Family of three (3); Annual Income: $19,843) <br />There is a line-item in the current year budget for impact fee reimbursements. The current balance <br />is $66,400. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): <br />The Manager recommends approval of the impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat for <br />Humanity in the amount of $6,000. <br />
