October 11, 1945 Chapel Hill Town Council, Carrboro Board of Alderman and the Orange <br />County Board of Commissioners jointly discussed the fate of the Greene <br />tract and concluded that the Northwest Small Area Plan should be put on <br />hold for six months until the Landfill Owners Group has recommended a <br />new landfill site and they made recor mendations on the future use of the <br />August 26. 1996 Town Council requested update on status of Northwest Small Area Plam <br />September 9, 1996 Town Council receives update on the Northwest Small Area Plan. <br />Z3 33 <br />October 6, 1994 <br />NWAP Work Group held third Neighborhood Meeting. <br />October 18, 1994 <br />NWAP conducts a joint meeting with the Carrboro Small Area Plan <br />Work Group. <br />November 15, 1994 <br />Monthly meeting - NWAP Work Group. <br />December 20, 1994 <br />Northwest Small Area Plan Work Group unanimously recommended the <br />Northwest Small Area Plan to the Town Council as a proposed addition <br />to the Town's Comprelxnsive Plan. <br />January 23, 1995 <br />Town Council adopted a resolution calling a public hearing and referring <br />the recommended small area plan to five advisory boards for review. <br />March 1, 1995 <br />Town Council held a public bearing on the recommended plan. <br />June 26, 1995 <br />Town Council reviewed all of the comnu= that had been received on <br />the recommended Northwest Small Area Plan, and scheduled a work <br />session on August 30, 1995. <br />August 30, 1495 <br />Town Council, reprves from the Orange County Board of <br />C s and a representative from the Carrboro Board of <br />Aldermen discussed several key issues regarding the Plan. <br />September 11, 1995 <br />Town Council adopted a resolution inviting Orange County and the <br />Town of Carrboro to attend a Wort Session on the Greene Tract to be <br />followed by a Joint Planning Area Public Hearing on the Northwest <br />Small Area Plan on October 11, 1995. <br />September 21, 1995 <br />Orange County Board of Commissioners received the Town Council's <br />resolution (4111/95).
