4 <br />14 . <br />The Council may also wish to consider reviewing the draft Northwest Small Area Plan prior to <br />this Joint Public Hearing. <br />RECOMN ENDATION <br />We recommend that the Council adopt the two attached resolutions concerning the upcoming <br />Joint Public Hearing and the status of Chapel Hill's Northwest Small Area Plan. <br />Resolution A would request that Orange County and Carrboro agree to schedule an additional <br />Joint Public Hearing date in June, 1998, and agree to split the April 8 public hearing items into <br />two groups, considering the American Stone application and the application of Ms. Inna Deng on <br />April 8; and considering the Carrboro requests on the second hearing in June, 1998. <br />Resolution B would request that Orange County and Carrboro agree to schedule consideration of <br />the Carrboro Northern Small Area Plan and the Chapel Hill Northwest Small Area Plan together <br />at the second hearing date in June, 1998. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
