96P <br /> . <br /> (c) Requirements on placement of' manufactured homes. RFIp <br /> criteria no longer allow you to grandfather existing <br /> "mobile home parks . To make this change, replace your <br /> current ordinance provisions on placement of mobile homes <br /> in mobile home parks or subdivision and can individually <br /> owned lots with the following or its equivalent: <br /> All manufactured homes to' be placed or substantially <br /> improved within Zones A'-30, AH, and AE . shall be <br /> elevated on a permanent foundation such that the <br /> lowest floor of the manufactured home is at or above <br /> the base flood elevation and be securely anchored to <br /> an adequately anchored foundation system -in accordance <br /> with the provisions of (cite the manufactured horse <br /> anchoring provisions of your ordinance) . <br /> (d) Removal of prohibition on the placement -of manufactured <br /> homes in floodways. If floodways have been des=,g hated in <br /> your community, there will be a provision in your ordin- <br /> ance that prohibits the placement of manufactured homes in <br /> those floodways . You may delete this prov4'sion at your <br /> option. Manufactured homes to be placed in floodways <br /> would have to meet the same standards as conventional <br /> housing and other development (e.g . their placement would <br /> be prohibited unless it could be demonstrated that there- <br /> would be no increase in base flood eleva ions in the <br /> community) . <br /> NIR (e) Removal of the prohibition on the placement of <br /> manufactured homes in coastal high hazard areas (zones V, <br /> VE, and VI-30) . If V-zones have been designated in your <br /> community, there will be a provision in your ordinance <br /> which prohibits the placement of manufactured homes in <br /> those V-zones. You may delete this provision from your <br /> ordinance at your option. Manufactured IYomes to be laced <br /> in V-zones would have to meet the same standards as 'conven- <br /> tional housing (e.g. meet the provisions at S60.3(e) (3), <br /> (4) , (5) and (6) of NFIP criteria) . <br />
