The tracts aze identified as lots 27 and <br />27E, Tax Map 18, Chapel Hill Township and contain 8.08 and 3.62 acres respectively. <br />They are located in a segment of the Rural Buffer Area, bordered to the north and west by <br />the Blackwood Division of Duke Forest and to the east and south by the Chapel Hill <br />Transition Area. The tracts are a part of the land proposed for inclusion in the Chapel Hill <br />Transition Area as proposed in the Chapel Hill Northwest Small Area Plan. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Orange County, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro Planning Staffs recommend <br />approval of the proposed amendment, including the other seven parcels in the area <br />as recommended in the Chapel Hill Northwest Small Area Plan.
