The Board of Commissioners far the County of Orange, North 2`~ A <br />Carolina, met in regular session at the Orange County Courthouse, <br />l06 Margaret Lane in Hillsborough, North Carolina, the regular <br />place of meeting, at 7:30 P.M., an February 2, 1987. <br />.present: Chairman Shirley Marshall., presiding, and <br />commissioners Moses Carey, Stephen Ha lk i of i s, John Hartwei 1 and <br />;r <br />pon Willhait ' <br />Absent: None <br />•Alsa present: Gordan Hiker, Finance Director and Beverly <br />Blythe, Clerk to the Saard of Commissioners_ <br />~ * * *~ <br />Commissioner Moses Carey i.ntraduced. the fallowing order <br />authorizing bonds which was-read: <br />ORDER AUTHORIZING $200,OOQ <br />SANITARY SLF7ER BONDS <br />BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Commissioners far the County <br />of Orange: <br />1. That, pursuant to The Local Government Bona Act, as <br />amended, the County of Orange, North Carolina, is hereby au~`hor- <br />ized to contract a debt, in~addition to any and all other debt <br />which said County may now or hereafter have poixer ar authority to <br />contract, and in evidence thereof to issue Sanitary Surer Sands <br />iri an aggregate principal amount not exceeding $~D0,00o for the. <br />purpose of providing funds, with any other available funds, for <br />constructing a portion of a sanitary sewer system for said <br />County, including the construction of sewage collector, inter- <br />ceptor and force mains and lines, sewage pumping facilities and <br />appurtenant facilities, the construction of a sewage main to <br />transport sewage to the sanitary sewer system of the Town of • <br />-Hill-sborough for treatment and the acquisition of any necessary. <br />].and, rights of way and equipment therefor. <br />2.
