John Baird, Principal at Carolina Friends <br />School, submitted a letter in support of the request. The letter is attached to the <br />minutes. The item was referred to the Planning Board for a recommendation. <br />On April 1, the Planning Board made positive findings on the specific ordinance <br />requirements and on the general standards for special uses. Accordingly, the <br />Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend approval of the modification of <br />the Special Use Permit for Carolina Friends School. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the modification of the Special Use <br />Permit for Carolina Friends School based on the attached findings. <br />
