2 <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board conduct the public <br />hearing; discuss the legislative issues identified in the resolution prepared by the County Attorney; <br />adopt the resolution; and direct the County Attorney to transmit the resolution to the Orange County <br />legislative delegation before the deadlines established by the General Assembly for consideration of <br />legislation in 1998. <br />
