Tongan. responded <br />it would be updated as more information becomes available. <br />Commissioner Walker stated that a study had been done fairly <br />recently and that a copy of this study should help considerably. <br />Jo Barbour indicated that a Mrs. Ingstroin had information that <br />should be incorporated in the study. Tongan responded that those notes <br />prepared by Mrs. Ingstrom are reportedly missing. <br />Pearson Stewart, Triangle Land Conservancy, encouraged the Boards <br />to amend the Land Use Plan to include this inventory and supported the <br />suggestion to continually update the inventory as more information <br />becomes available. <br />3. ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENTS <br />a. Article 10 Off-Street Parkin and Loadin <br />The presentation was made by Marvin Collins. <br />No requirement exists in the Zoning Ordinance for the provision of <br />handicapped parking facilities. such facilities are currently provided <br />through the attachment of conditions of approval on subdivision plats, <br />planned developments and special use permits, or through the <br />application of the NC State Building Code requirements. <br />The proposed ordinance amendments would require <br />spaces to be a minimum of 13 feet in width and 20 <br />minimum of two (2) handicapped spaces or one (1) f~ <br />parking spaces would be required.
