~~~ <br />MINUTES <br />JOINT SESSION <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AND <br />ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING BOARD <br />AUGUST 25, 1986 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in joint session with <br />the Orange County Planning Board on August 25, 1986, 7:30 p.m. in <br />Superior Courtroom; Orange County courthouse, Hillsborough, North <br />Carolina. <br />BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Don Willhoit and Commissioners <br />Shirley Marshall, Moses Carey, Ben Lloyd and Norman Walker. <br />PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Barry Jacobs. (The members <br />were notified that the meeting would be continued because of a lack of a <br />quorum) . <br />ATTORNEY PRESENT: Geoffrey Gledhill. <br />STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Kenneth R. Thompson, Clerk to the <br />Board Beverly A. Blythe and Planning Director Marvin Collins. <br />Chair Willhoit called the meeting to order. He announced that <br />because of a lack of a quorum of the Planning Board members, the meeting <br />would not be held as scheduled. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Marshall to continue the Joint Public Hearing to September 16, 7:30 p.m. <br />in the Courtroom of the old Post Office, Chapel Hi11, North Carolina. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED. <br />Don Willhoit, Chair <br />Beverly A.
