A fuller <br />description of the changes should be given, such as the <br />addition of the fixed canopy extending from the rear <br />enclosed porch. <br />Add a few sentences about any changes in use and ownership <br />since the 1972 nomination was written. Clarify the current <br />use. <br />Rigsbee's Rock House <br />State the current use. <br />Bingham School <br />The addendum should be expanded to describe the changes that <br />have been made to the ell porch and the addition of the <br />small greenhouse-like structure. <br />The nomination mentions "several other outbuildings." These <br />should be described and their locations specified. The <br />setting and landscape features should also be more fully <br />described. A site sketch map, showing the footprint of the <br />house and all the outbuildings would be helpful. <br />Summarize any changes of ownership or use since the 1977 <br />nomination was written and before the current use as a bed- <br />and-breakfast. <br />For a good example of the elements that should be included in a <br />local designation report, I am enclosing a copy of a designation <br />report from Mecklenburg County. <br />I would appreciate your sending me copies of any material added <br />to the reports so that our files will be complete. <br />Thank you for giving us the opportunity to comment.
