DISPOSAL OF PROPERTY FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />To award the bid to Mr. Jack Payne for the 12' x 56' mobile home <br />far a Sum of $500; Mrs. Janet Thomas for the 12' x 60' mobile home for a sum <br />of $1202.65; allowing the security deposits on each to be used as a part of <br />the bid price; and to authorize the Director of Purchasing to release titles <br />on mobile homes to said parties. <br />To reject the bid for land due to disparity between bid price and <br />its appraised value and authorize the Director of Purchasing to advertise <br />for rebid using the public auction upset bid method as provided in the <br />General Statutes. <br />3. PACKER UNIT REPLACEMENT BIDS <br />To award the bid for one (1) 38 yard packer unit at $32,675 net <br />cost (includes $1000 trade in) to Carolina Waste Systems, Hamlet, North <br />Carolina. <br />4. ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT FOR SOUTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY <br />Item was deleted by the County Attorney. <br />5. FIREWORKS DISPLAY AT KENAN STADIUM <br />To authorize the issuance of a permit for the exhibition with the <br />-ovision that proper evidence of general liability insurance be delivered <br />~~ the Orange County Purchasing Director by Friday, June 27, 1.986. The <br />insurance is to name orange county as an additional insured. <br />6. DEMOLITION LOT CLEARING AND HAULING SERVICES CONTRACT AWARD <br />To award the bid to R. W. Jones Grading and Hauling Company, <br />Hillsborough, North Carolina as the lowest responsible bidder. <br />7. ORANGE GROVE PRELIMINARY PLAN <br />To approve the preliminary plan subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />(1) Lots in the Orange Grave Mobile Home Estates subdivision must <br />be combined to meet the minimum lot size requirement of 40,000 <br />square feet outside of the road right-of-way and the subdi- <br />vision replatted and recorded. (Compliance with this condition <br />requires that the applicant record a combination plat which <br />_ provides for the right-of-way requirements for a public road <br />-- prior to final plat approval for the Orange Grove Subdivision. <br />All existing structures in the Orange Grove Mobile Home <br />Estates Subdivision must comply with the setback requirements <br />for the district and be indicated on the combination plat.) <br />(2) Property lines must follow the sight distance lines at the <br />intersection with SR 1006, as recommended by NCDOT. (Com- <br />pliance with this condition requires that the combination plat <br />referenced in condition #1 include the sight distance require <br />meats as part of the dedicated right-of-way and not as part of <br />Lots #1 and 16 as shown on the revised preliminary plan.) <br />
