The types of problems <br />which may be addressed through the EAP include drug and <br />alcohol abuse, mental health including depression, parent/child <br />issues, marital issues and job stress. The EAP also provides <br />supervisory consultation for dealing with employee personal <br />problems, and provides consultation an a variety of mental <br />health topics such as stress management, depression and <br />conflict management. <br />The EAP currently serves as Orange County's referral agency <br />for any employee problems related to substance abuse. The <br />County's Drug and Alwhol Testing Policy, which complies with <br />the Federal government's drug and alcohol testing requirements, <br />requires the County to have a referral agency for an employee <br />who tests positive for substance abuse.
