Planning Najj Findings <br />lTe application for the rezoning of the tract from AR Agricultural - <br />Residential to AS Agricultural Service bas been reviewed by Planning <br />Staff Findings required by Article 20.3 of the Zoning Ordinmfice follow: <br />1. Rezoning the propeay, to AS would be compatible with the <br />stipulations set fond for de Agdculmral- Residenhzl plan <br />category use given in the Comprehensive Plan. The Plan would <br />= teed to be amended to accommcrimte AS Wrong, <br />2. Lists of AS uses are given in the attached (noon l Information <br />Memorandum an the Board of County Commissioners and the <br />planning Board of April 16, 1998. Seventeen uses are permitted <br />by right in de AS Loading District. Four require a Class A <br />Special Use Permit with approval of the Board of County <br />Commissioners, and five require a Class B Permit with approval <br />of the Board of Adjustment. Any of tbeee uses, either by right or <br />under special conditions, could be allowed on the proposed <br />zoning tract. <br />Public Hearing Summary <br />A joint public bearing on the rezoning request was held by We Board of <br />County Commissioners and We Planning Board on May 26, 1998. The <br />minutes are attached. There were no comments from the public. <br />Pioming Boats Recommendation <br />The Planning Boats considered the proposed rezoning of 2.03 acres <br />from AR in AS at its mating of July 15, 1998, and approved the <br />reaming per We attached findings. The vote was maintains. <br />RRCOMb UgEiATION: The Administration recommends t) closing the public hearing, and <br />2) approval of the proposed Zoning Atlas amendment as per the <br />Planning Board recommendation. <br />
