ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENTS - JUNKED MOTOR VEHICLES <br />(The text amendments are i n the permanent agenda f i 1e i n `the CJerk's Office. ) <br />Planner Susan Smith presented for consideration of approval <br />the proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance as submitted <br />to public hearing on January 6, 1986. The amendments relate <br />to an enforcement action dealing with the removal of junked <br />and/or abandoned vehicles from a parcel in Chapel Hill <br />Township near Calvander. The Planning Board recommends <br />approval of the proposed ordinance amendments. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by --- <br />Commissioner Carey to approve the text amendments as <br />recommended by the Planning Board. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. - <br />7. CONTRACT WITH N.C. MEMORIAL HOSPITAL - FAMILY PLANNING <br />SERVICES <br />Tom Ward, Director of Social Services, stated. a request was <br />received from N.C. Memorial Hospital fora Social Worker I to <br />work 8 hours per week to provide certification and counseling <br />when necessary to patients requesting financial aid under the <br />state Abortions Fund Program. Fees for. service will be <br />generated from state funds for NCMH. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Carey to approve the agreement between North <br />Carolina Memorial. Hospital and Orange County Department of <br />Social Services. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />8. HOME HEALTH AGENCY FISCAL YEAR 1984-85 REIMBURSEMENT <br />County Manager Ken Thompson presented for consideration of <br />approval a request from the Home Health Agency far <br />reimbursement in accordance with the performance agreement <br />dated August 6, 1984 in the amount of $5,227.55. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by <br />Commissioner Carey to approve the manager's recommendation. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />ADDED ITEM - PUBLIC HEARING FOR ISOTECHNOLOGIES INC.
