the Expanded Food arcd Nuhirion Educarian Progrnm (EFNEP) in the /960's. <br />EFNEP teaches Gmired income families with children to use [heir available <br />resouttes and develop the necessary skills to provide nutritionally sound meals. <br />Current programs ofCES include family and consumer education, (which includes <br />[he nutrition education programs), agriculture, 4-H and youth programs, and <br />community and rural development. <br />The proposed In-Home Breastfeeding Support Program will be ajoint <br />paztnership belwren CES and [he Orange County Health Department, Piedmont <br />Health Services, Inc., (W[C provider) and UNC Hospitals. <br />
