Consultant's Statement of Qualifications submitted in response to the RFQ ("Consultant's <br />Response") as Attachment A. <br />3.1.2 Services will be performed by the Consultant in accordance with approved scopes <br />of work negotiated and authorized prior to the commencement of each task. <br />ARTICLE 4 DURATION OF SERVICES <br />4.1 Scheduling of Services <br />4.1.1 The Consultant shall schedule and perform his activities in a timely manner so as <br />to meet the delivery requirements in an approved scope of work. <br />4.1.2 Should the County determine that the Consultant is behind schedule, it may require <br />the Consultant to expedite and accelerate his efforts, including providing additional resources <br />and working overtime, as necessary, to perform his services in accordance with the approved <br />project schedule at no additional cost to the County. <br />ARTICLE 5 COMPENSATION <br />5.1 Compensation for General Services <br />5.1.1 Compensation for tasks authorized in Article 3 will be based on individual scopes <br />of work, negotiated prior to the commencement of each task, and each work task shall be <br />predicated on a "not-to-exceed" basis if not otherwise negotiated prior to the commencement of <br />the task. <br />5.2 Pa.. <br />5.2.1 The Consultant shall submit regular invoices, using Standard Billing Rates (as <br />provided in the RFQ, for work performed and shall be paid for completion of work performed <br />during that period under the terms of this Agreement. The County shall make payment within <br />thirty (30) days of receipt of an accurate invoice. <br />ARTICLE 6 RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUNTY <br />6.1 Cooperation and Coordination <br />6.1.1 The County has designated the Solid Waste Management Department Director to <br />act as the County's representative with respect to the Project and shall have the authority to <br />render decisions within guidelines established by the County Manager and the County Board of <br />Commissioners and shall be available during working hours as often as may be reasonably <br />required to render decisions and to furnish information. <br />6.1.2 The County shall be solely responsible for determining whether Consultant has <br />satisfactorily completed tasks associated with an approved scope of work.
