Harvey Clark, <br />courthouse custodian, and Arthur Yancey, assistant district attorney, <br />pursued the suspect as he fled the courthouse. They were soon joined <br />by Chapel Hill Officer Scott Taylor, and the suspect was apprehended <br />after a chase through downtown Hillsborough. Because of the heroic <br />efforts of these three individuals to save another citizen from harm or <br />death, the Board of County Commissioners recommended on October 6, <br />that they should receive the Orange County Hero Award. <br />RECOIrT~~NDATION: Present to each of the recipients a certificate of <br />appreciation. <br />
