Hinkley, Zoning Officer, Orange County, North Carolina, <br />DO HEREBY CERTIFY THAT: <br />On or about November 6, 1998, I sent by Certified Mail, postage prepaid, a <br />Notice of the Public Hearing to be held on Monday, November 23, 1998, at 7:30 <br />pm in the F. Gordon Battle Courtroom of the New County Courthouse at 106 E. <br />Margaret Street in Hillsborough, North Carolina, for the purpose of providing all <br />interested citizens an opportunity to speak for or against a proposal by the Orange <br />County Planning Staff to amend the County Zoning Atlas by rezoning 5.44 acres <br />on the northwest side of NC 49 approximately 1,000 feet southwest of the <br />intersection of Corbett Ridge/Carr Store Road (SR 1004) and NC 49 in Cedar <br />Grove Township (Tax Map No. 2.17..1 & 1C) from AR Agriculture-Residential <br />and NC Neighborhood Commercial to EC-5 Existing Commercial. The notice <br />was sent to five property owners who hold title to five parcels which lie within <br />S00 feet of the L.J. Roger Trucking Company, Inc. properties.
