15. 0 Military Leave <br />15.1 <br />Article IV <br />Zv /o - O ✓�/ <br />Employee Benefits <br />Amended <br />6/16/10 <br />In accordance with the Uniformed Services Employment and <br />Reemployment Rights Act of 1994, its amendments and any implementing <br />regulations, (USERRA) 38 U.S.C. 4301 et. seq. and N.C. Gen. Stat. 127A -116, <br />military leave, employment, retention and reemployment rights and benefits are <br />granted to qualified military servicemembers and veterans for certain periods of <br />service in the uniformed services. <br />15.2 No agent or employee of the County shall deny an individual initial employment, <br />reemployment, retention in employment, promotion, or any benefit of <br />employment on the basis of their membership, application for membership, <br />performance of services, application for service, or obligation for service in the <br />uniformed services. <br />15.3 The County Manager will promulgate Administrative Rules and Regulations to <br />carry out this section of the Personnel Ordinance. <br />
