5 <br />A. Standards for Class II Kennels. All Commercial kennels shall, in addition <br />to the other requirements of this ordinance, comply with the minimum standards of this <br />subsection. Owners or operators of Class II kennels must apply to the Animal Control <br />Director, pay any designated fee, and receive a permit to own or operate a Class II <br />commercial kennel in Orange County. Facilities shall be subject to inspection during <br />reasonable hours by an Animal Control Officer upon his or her request. A fee in the <br />amount of $25.00 shall be assessed against the Owners or Operators of a facility for <br />failing to permit an " ection pursuant to this subsection in order to defray the costs of <br />repeat travel to the facility.Failure to meet the standards set out herein shall be grounds <br />for the issuance of a citation subjecting the owner to the penalties described herein, <br />and/or the issuance of an abatement order to comply with the provisions of this <br />ordinance. The premises of commercial kennels shall meet the following standards: <br />Section XX — Permits and Standards for Animal Collection. <br />A. ... <br />1. ... <br />a. ... <br />b. An investigation may then be conducted by the Animal Control <br />Director which may include inspection of the premises where the animals are to be kept <br />and any vehicles in which animals are to be transported. A fee in the amount of $25.00 <br />shall be assessed against an applicant or permit holder for failing to permit an inspection <br />pursuant to this subsection in order to defray the costs of repeat travel. <br />
