10 <br />Exempt <br />Allowable <br />Allowable <br />Prohibited <br />with <br />Mitigation <br />Driveway crossings of streams and other surface waters <br />subject to this Rule: <br />• Driveway crossings on single family residential lots that <br />X <br />disturb equal to or less than 25 linear feet or 2,500 square <br />feet of riparian buffer <br />• Driveway crossings on single family residential lots <br />that disturb greater than 25 linear feet or 2,500 square feet <br />X <br />of riparian buffer <br />• In a subdivision that cumulatively disturb equal to or <br />X <br />less than 150 linear feet or one -third of an acre of riparian <br />buffer <br />X <br />• In a subdivision that cumulatively disturb greater than <br />150 linear feet or one -third of an acre of riparian buffer <br />Fences provided that disturbance is minimized and <br />X <br />installation does not result in removal of forest vegetation <br />Forest harvesting - see Section 4.17 of this Rule <br />Fertilizer application: <br />• One -time fertilizer application to establish replanted <br />X <br />vegetation <br />• Ongoing fertilizer application <br />X <br />Grading and revegetation in Zone 2 only provided that <br />X <br />diffuse flow and the health of existing vegetation in Zone 1 <br />is not compromised and disturbed areas are stabilized <br />Greenway / hiking trails <br />X <br />Historic preservation <br />X <br />Landfills -as defined by G.S. 130A -290. <br />X <br />10 <br />
