3~ <br />a Board member may add an item to the agenda anytime before it <br />is printed. <br />Commissioner Carey indicated that the procedures provice for <br />additions to the agenda after the Tuesday deadline without a <br />majority <br />vote of the Board. <br />S <br />The Board established topics and discussed dates for future work <br />sessions: <br />~.- (a) Personnel Ordinance - a meeting was set for January 22 at <br />7:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room.' <br />(b) Planning Board - to discuss planning issues and the. agenda <br />for 1985. <br />(c) Budget -setting new budget and format - meeting set for <br />- January 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room. <br />(d) General goals and objectives. <br />(e) Input from the County Manager and department heads to <br />acquaint the Board with the various departments and their <br />programs and accomplishments. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Marshall to approve the meeting times, the rules of procedure, and the topics <br />and dates for future work sessions. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />cF (corrected copy is in the permanent agenda <br />- file) <br />Motion was made by Chair willhoit, seconded by Commissioner «alker to <br />approve the Sewer Service Application with the addition of "in all <br />likelihood" only be constructed in line 6 on page 4. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br />Thompson will check with the Division of Environmental Management to <br />request an additional time allowance for getting the Sewer Service Agreement <br />signed and report this information back to the Board at their next meeting. <br />~~~ _gLAN_ Z55UES <br />Commissioner Lloyd noted four (4) areas of concern in the pay plan. <br />(1) The Assistant Register of Deeds did not receive any change in <br />her pay classification but the Verification Specialist and the <br />Administrative Assistant both received increases. <br />(2) The Finance Director did not receive an increase as was <br />recommended. <br />(3) The Director of Planning diG not receive an increase as was <br />recommended. <br />(4) One secretary in Agricultural Extension received an increase <br />-- while the other secretary remained an the same classification. <br />Thompson indicated that all employees have the right to appeal <br />through the month of December the decisions that were made in the pay study. <br />Commissioner Marshall indicated that all clerical positions between <br />grades 56-62 are being studied and a report will be forthcoming. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Lloyd, seconded by Commissioner t~ial~:er to <br />adjourn the meeting.
