Chair, expressed <br />appreciation for the opportunity to present the recommendation of the School <br />Board for the Orange County Schools. He emphasized getting the most for each <br />tax dollar and indicated this plan does have unanimous support from the Board <br />of Education. <br />Dr. Dan I,unsford, Superintendent of Orange County Schools, presented <br />the recommendations on the school organization/facilities improvement plan as <br />contained in his memo to the Board of Commissioners dated November 26 and ir. <br />the report from the Division of School Planning SDPI dated October 15. (These <br />two documents are in the permanent agenda file in the Clerk's office). <br />Lunsford explained this plan is an outcrowth of the concerns raised by the <br />Capital T~1P_P_d8 Task Force to provide better facilities for the instzuctional <br />
