C��P� �� 1 O- d�� 19 <br /> Senior Citizen Health Promotion Program <br /> Grant Project Ordinance <br /> Project Number 29-4303 <br /> Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br /> 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following grant project is <br /> hereby adopted. <br /> Section 1. This project authorized is the Senior Citizen Health Promotion Program to develop <br /> a comprehensive and coordinated County health promotion and disease prevention <br /> program for citizens involving a partnership of public agencies, University Health <br /> Affairs and private groups. <br /> Section 2.The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the grant project in <br /> accordance with the mutual cooperation agreement between the County and the <br /> University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as approved by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners on June 30, 1997. <br /> Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to be available to complete this project: <br /> Grant Funds (2010-11) �33,000 <br /> Fees for Service (2010-11) $24,000 <br /> Transfer from General Fund(2010-11) $40,079 <br /> Total FY20I0-II Revenue �97,079 <br /> Section 4. The following amount is appropriated for this project: <br /> Senior Citizen Health Promotion Program (FY2010-11) �97,079 <br /> Section5. The finance officer is hereby directed to maintain within the Grant Project sufficient <br /> specific detailed accounting records to provide the accounting to the grantor <br /> agency. <br /> Section 6.Funds may be advanced from the General Fund for the purpose of making <br /> payments due. Reimbursement requests should be made to the grantor agency in <br /> an orderly and timely manner. <br /> Section 7.Copies of this grant project ordinance shall be made available to the finance officer <br /> for direction in carrying out this project. <br /> Section 8.Positions authorized through this grant project ordinance include: <br /> 1.0 Full Time Equivalent Senior Public Health Educator <br /> This position is authorized through June 30, 2011. Subsequent funding in future <br /> years is contingent upon the availability of grant funds. <br />
