She felt that the area c,esignated ryas <br />perhaps pat large enough. <br />She further noted what, frith the growth notr taking Mace, the <br />time 1,ad came for the County to take stringent protection measures for the <br />water supply. She states that it ryas easier to prevent than to 1?eve to <br />clean up. Although T?a::e County allowed wester <br />anra server extension they still recuire 2 acre minimum tat size. Brown still felt that the <br />Commissioners vrould not want to go vrith recommendations that would be too <br />restrictive. <br />Stanley Bennett noted that he did not want contamination of <br />groups vrater or city t•rater. People come to this areG to live because it is <br />a good, safe place to live. The continued prosperity depends upon }seeping <br />these good safe conditions. He urged that we bear in mind the "broad good" <br />for the entire county and that most residents want to safeguard this reneral <br />welfare of the er.t?.re area. i•Te can be sensible, adopt gooc: standa.res and <br />protect the interests of those most affected.
