~:~ <br />J <br />Fund to provide detailed acccuntaaility for the County's Participatory <br />Paving Program in accordance with the July 19, 1984• memo to the 73oarc of <br />Commissioners. <br />VOTL : U1`;ANITdQUS <br />a~ PROP ~~ ITdFFASTP.UCTUA~ S'I_'UDY <br />Thompson presented for consideration a proposal prepared by the <br />Regional Managers Group and by the Triangle Council of Governments for ~. <br />survey that would: <br />1. Assemble data on the facility neecs in each unit of local <br />government within the counties of Orange, Wake and Durham. <br />2. Compile the information and determine how the plans relate <br />and vrhere coordination of effort can be mounted to effect <br />economies; and <br />3. rorecast what can be done in the timing of improvement <br />measures. <br />The estimated cost would be $15,000 with each County <br />contributing $5,000. <br />The survey would aid in the capital planning for the County and <br />take into account future road improvements and also an inventory of local <br />plans that would have a bearing on v,°ater and sevrer and public facilities. <br />Brad BarY.er indicated that the proposal is for the survey to be <br />done between August 84 znd January 85 but there would be no problem in <br />adjusting the schedule to meet the availability of the staff. There is a <br />sense of urgency from ~~7ake County and Durham County.
