N.C. Highway 86 and south of the southern Railroad. The <br />Planning Board recommended denial because of the lack of compliance with <br />the 100 foot setback requirer,.ent and the adverse effects of the access that <br />the proposed traffic would generate by the development. <br />Gledhill explained the special use process in that the County <br />Commissioners must determine if the applicant has met the recuirements of <br />the special use permit and if so issue the permit. The first step is a <br />fact-finding process.
