<br />Horry County, SC. Principal design engineer for expansion of sanitary landfill.
<br />Development of design includes wetlands mitigation, preparation of site hydrogeologic
<br />characterization report, and synthetic liner and leachate collection system.
<br />King County, WA, Cedar Hills Regional Landfill Refuse Area 7 Development, Maple
<br />Valley, WA. Sr. Project Engineer. HDR assisted King County with design plans for the
<br />construction of Cedar Hills Regional Landfill Refuse Area 7, an 18.3 acre landfill in SE
<br />King County. HDR is provided an engineering report, a cost estimation plan, and a specific
<br />implementation schedule. This project went out for bid in Fall of 2008, at which time, HDR
<br />will provided bidding assistance.
<br />Landfill Evaluations, Various Locations. Completed numerous landfill evaluations and
<br />closure plans. Served as project engineer for evaluation of existing landfill and review of
<br />proposed contract to evaluate feasibility of six-county regional landfill
<br />Loudoun County, VA. Project engineer for design and preparation of plans and
<br />specifications for 25 -acre landfill expansion, including synthetic liner and leachate collection
<br />system.
<br />Mecklenburg County Solid Waste, US 521 Landfill, NC. Sr. Project Engineer. HDR is
<br />providing solid waste services which include preparation and submittal of all documentation
<br />to provide strategic and tactical expertise for the design, operations, regulatory compliance,
<br />and management of the US 521 Landfill for a five year period.
<br />Mecklenburg County, NC. Project manager for solid waste management implementation
<br />activities, including preparation of request for proposals, contract development, facility
<br />siting, preliminary design and construction management of 235 -tpd waste -to- energy facility.
