<br />Greenville County, South Carolina. Senior technical advisor for the Twin Chimneys
<br />landfill permitting, design, constuction, and infrastructure development.
<br />Charleston County, Bees Ferry Landfill - Permitting/Design and Construction,
<br />Charleston, SC. Project Manager for the lined expansion of the County's existing MSW
<br />landfill. The site is comprised of over 300 acres, and the work consists of preliminary
<br />design and planning, all permitting, and development of construction plans for the lined
<br />expansion. The design included airspace optimization by piggybacking the new liner
<br />system over old waste.
<br />Charleston County, Bees Ferry Landfill - Permitting /Design and Construction,
<br />Charleston, SC. Project Manager for modification of the County's MSW permit for the
<br />unlined landfill. Work included revised grading to reclaim an area that had received
<br />waste, and revision of the phasing and grading plans to better incorporate the proposed
<br />lined expansion.
<br />US 17 South Landfill (Proposed), Charleston, South Carolina. Project Manager for the
<br />proposed US 17 South MSW Landfill located in western Charleston County. This site
<br />comprised over 750 acres. The work included preliminary design and planning,
<br />hydrogeologic investigations, wetland delineation, and initial solid waste permitting
<br />thorugh SCDHEC. The project was deferred in favor of expanding the County's existing
<br />landfill.
<br />York County Solid Waste Management Plan Update, York County, SC. Project
<br />Manager for the County's solid waste management plan update. Work included
<br />facilitation of a 14 member citizen's advisory committee, review of emerging waste
<br />management technologies, evaluation of landfill needs, establishment of landfill siting
<br />criteria, and presentation of findings to County Coucil.
<br />Three Rivers Solid Waste Authory, Title V Permit Renewal Application, SC. Project
<br />Manager for the Three Rivers SWA in developing a complete Title V permit renewal
<br />application for submittal to the SCDHEC BAQ.
<br />Williamsburg County Landfill Partnership, Williamsburg County, SC. Project
<br />Manager for the County helping evaluate options to develop a lined MSW landfill facility
<br />involving Public - Public or Public - Private partnership(s) for permitting, design, financing,
<br />construction, and operations. Work is ongoing at this time.
<br />Williamsburg County Landfill, SC. Project Manager for various solid waste projects
<br />including feasibility studies for expansion of the County's landfill and privatization of the
<br />waste stream. Design Engineer for C &D permits.
<br />Georgetown County, Sanitary Landfill Expansion, Georgetown, SC. Design Engineer
<br />for the 40 -acre lined expansion. The design included base liner system, leachate collection
<br />system, and on -site pretreatment of leachate.
<br />Horry County, Sanitary Landfill Expansion, Conway, SC. Design Engineer for the 27-
<br />acre lined expansion. The design included base liner system, leachate collection system,
<br />and on -site pretreatment of leachate.
<br />Sarasota County BOCC, On Call Solid Waste Services, FL. Project Principal and
<br />Senior Technical Advisor for a variety of projects including the 55 acre Phase II expansion
<br />permitting and design, borrow studies, airspace analyses, landfill gas to energy feasibility
<br />studies, Phase I partial closure permitting and design, and sustainability studies related to
<br />development of an eco park on and adjacent to landfill property.
